Couples Counseling
Couples counseling is designed to help partners reconnect by addressing communication breakdowns, conflict, and emotional distance. It focuses on identifying deeper unmet needs and managing recurring issues rather than simply resolving fights. Therapists guide couples in rebuilding trust, improving communication, rekindling intimacy, and breaking destructive patterns. The goal is to help partners strengthen their bond and create a more fulfilling, lasting relationship together.
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy is probably one of the most common forms of psychotherapy that people think of when it comes to therapy. This is where you have one person in the room who is identified as the client or the patient and one person who is the therapist. Individual therapy takes on many different flavors from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy styles, Humanistic or Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and the list goes on. Trauma Therapy
Trauma-informed care has become a buzzword in society over the past few years, and trauma therapy has become an equally sought after service. While there are specific psychotherapies that are gold standards for trauma such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, etc., many providers use an eclectic or (hopefully) integrative approach when it comes to trauma therapy. This is what it means to be trauma informed. Trauma-informed includes understanding the whole person in the context of experiences and seeking to align treatment and the environment in ways to ensure the individual feels safe.
